Mumford and Sons‘ keyboard player Ben Lovett has remixed the Alt-J song, ‘Dissolve Me’.
The new version of the track features on a US only remix EP called ‘Summer’, which boasts six Alt-J remixes, including three different versions of ‘Fitzpleasure’, by Odd Future offshoot The Internet, Jim James of My Morning Jacket and Dave Sitek. It also features a Ben De Vries remix of ‘Tessellate’ and a Hanz version of ‘Ms’. The original versions of all songs feature on Alt-J’s acclaimed debut album, 2012’s ‘An Awesome Wave’.

Last year Mumford and Sons covered Alt-J‘s track ‘Tessellate’ on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge. The band’s keyboard player, Gus Unger-Hamilton went on to tell Fuse.tv that they’d “love to” return the favour and cover one of Mumford and Sons’ tracks. Unger-Hamilton said of their version of the track: “As they say on The X Factor, they really made it their own.” Bassist Gwil Sainsbury added that it was “so flattering” to hear the band had covered their music.
