David Cameron gives Barack Obama a mixtape featuring Alt-J and Jake Bugg

The Prime Minister gave the USB mix to world leaders at last month's G8 summit in Northern Ireland

Prime Minster David Cameron last month gave a selection of heads of state – including US President Barack Obama – a mixtape featuring music from the likes of Alt-J , Jake Bugg and Rudimental ft John Newman.

The 10-song playlist, which came on a USB stick, was also given to world leaders such as Vladimir Putin and Angela Merkel at the G8 summit in Northern Ireland by the British PM. The tracklisting was compiled for Cameron by the British Phonographic Industry who called the song selection “a bespoke creation for the leaders” and also featured songs from Ben Howard, Laura Mvula, Lianna La Havas and Tom Odell, reports The Guardian.
