It is the first time Ozzfest has been staged in the UK for three years, and will feature the original Black Sabbath line-up of frontman Ozzy Osbourne, Butler, guitarist Tony Iommi and drummer Bill Ward.

A total of 14 bands will perform at the festival, which is held across two stages.

The main stage line-up so far is:

Black Sabbath

Papa Roach

(Hed) PE

Raging Speedhorn

The Kerrang! stage line-up is:

Apartment 26

The Union Underground

Black Label Society (Ozzy’s band’s guitarist Zakk Wylde’s other outfit)

Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne admitted that he asked his son Jack’s advice when it came to picking bands for the bill.

Speaking in this week’s issue of Kerrang!, he said: “We’ve tried to put together the kind of bill that people want to see. To be honest with you, when it comes to picking the bands, I asked my son Jack about it, because I don’t know what the fuck’s going on. I don’t even want to pretend that I do. He’s a cool kid who loves it. I just hope everyone has a good time.”
