Amy Winehouse announces 2011 comeback tour dates

Singer will hit the road in Brazil in January

Amy Winehouse has announced a comeback tour set for January 2011 in Brazil.

The singer will play what is being billed as a “one-off tour” in the country, taking in a headline show at the Rio de Janeiro HSBC Arena on January 11.

She will also play three Summer Soul Festival slots: at the Il Divino Florianopolis on January 8, the Recife Convention Center on January 13 then the Sao Paulo Chácara Do Joquei on January 15.

The shows will be her first full live gigs since 2008. She recently played a short set during a charity concert at Camden’s Hawley Arms in London.

Janelle Monae will support Winehouse on all the dates, while rapper Mayer Hawthorne will play the three festival shows with her.
