It's bob-a-job as Scouts help fans with tents

Some of the facilities being used at this weekend’s (July 11-13) Oxegen Festival will be recycled by 12,500 Scouts.

The youth organisation is holding an international jamboree to celebrate 100 years of the Scouts in Ireland.

Lighting, showers, toilets and other infrastructure is being donated by promoters MCD for the event, which takes place between August 2-10, reports the Irish Times.

Around 150 Scouts have been on site this weekend helping festival goers to put up tents in exchanged for charitable donations.

Oxegen continues today (July 12) with The Verve, R.E.M and Amy Winehouse among those set to play.
