Singer won't be questioned in perverting the course of justice case
The police will take no further action against Amy Winehouse in relation to the charges against her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, for perverting the course of justice.
As previously reported on NME.COM, Amy Winehouse was arrested in December and questioned in London.
There was suspicion surrounding money Fielder-Civil is accused of using as part of a plot to pay off a witness of an alleged case of assault he committed.
However, today (February 29) it was announced that Winehouse is no longer a suspect in the case, and no further action will be taken against her.
Fielder-Civil remains incarcerated in Pentonville Prison, waiting to enter a plea for his case.
