Or will The Shins take home Woodie Of The Year?

Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen, The Shins, Common and Gym Class Heroes have all been nominated for mtvU’s Woodie Of The Year Award.

MTV‘s 24-hour college network has just announced the nominees for this year’s Woodie Awards, with Allen, Modest Mouse, Gym Class Heroes, Linkin Park and Justice all receiving two nominations each.

Tokyo Police Club, Peter, Bjorn and John and Silversun Pickups are among the nominees for Breaking Woodie.


The Woodie Awards are set to take place on November 8 at New York’s Roseland Ballroom. The winners are decided by college students.
