ANDREW WK was kept under observation in hospital last night suffering from concussion following an incident at the end of his LONDON show, it has emerged.

As revealed earlier on NME.COM, the much fancied US singer was headbutted close to the end of his debut solo live show in the UK at the London Highbury Garage last night (October 23). The singer collided with an over-eager stage-diver who clattered into WK, hitting him on the left of his face two songs from the end of his set. At the end of the show, WK collapsed in his dressing room and was moved to a hospital in Highgate, north London. He was kept under observation and released at 6am (BST).

A spokesperson for Andrew WK says he has been left with a huge egg-shaped lump over his left-eye and a bruise along his forehead. He will carry out all planned press and promo activities in the coming days.
