Andy Burrows hints at special guests for ‘The Snowman’ live show

The former Razorlight member will play his 'The Snowman and The Snowdog' soundtrack at London's Union Chapel

Former Razorlight guitarist Andy Burrows has hinted that some special guests will appear at the live performances of his soundtrack for The Snowman and The Snowdog, which take place at London’s Union Chapel in December.

Burrows, who currently a solo artist, members of We Are Scientists and drummer for Ricky Gervais’ band David Brent & Foregone Conclusion, has hinted to NME that attendees should expect a few special guests, though he wouldn’t name names. “There’s a couple of pop stars – a new pop star and a slightly older pop star – an indie-ish bloke and a funny bloke,” he says.

The animation The Snowman and The Snowdog premiered on TV last Christmas. Asked what fans could expect from the show, Burrows said it would be “a live, orchestral sort of film thing. We just thought would be a really beautiful way of doing something different with it this year. We’re still kind of putting them together now, but we want to do something that appeals to everyone. I think that’s the great thing about the film itself – adults and children all sit down and have a little cry to it.”
