US star cites Amy Winehouse and Adele as influences on her new music
Angel Haze has said that she will not rap on her next album, promising that her second record will feature her singing and nothing else.
Haze spoke to NME directly after appearing on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury, revealing what fans can expect from the follow-up to her 2013 album ‘Dirty Gold.’ She cites Tracy Chapman, Amy Winehouse and Adele as influences on her singing.
“Singing is my first love. I started as a singer and was a really, really bad rapper,” says the US star. “I wanted to get better and in the midst of me getting better I got signed.”
