THE ANIMALHOUSE, the Oxford five-piece featuring RIDE ex-members MARK GARDENER and LOZ COLBERT, release a new single in April and head out on a British tour later this month, one date of which includes an NME ‘On’ night.

They release ‘Small’ through Boilerhouse on April 17, the follow-up to January’s limited edition debut ‘Animal’. The 7” format of the single has ’78 Steps’ on the flipside, while both the 10” and CD version include an additional track, ‘What Happened To The Future’.

Gardener and Colbert have a chance to catch up on old times when they bump into former Ride guitarist Andy Bell in Germany later this week. The Animalhouse will support Oasis, for whom Bell is currently bassist, at a show in Cologne on March 25 before returning to Britain to kick off their British dates three days later.
