Another arrest warrant has been issued for a “person of interest” in the murder of XXXTentacion.
The Florida rapper, whose real name was Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, was shot and killed while he was leaving a motorcycle dealership on June 18. He was 20 years old.
Robert Allen, 22, has already been identified as a person of interest in the case. In a news release earlier this week Broward Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Veda Coleman-Wright said detectives wanted to know what he knows about the star’s death.
Coleman-Wright also confirmed that police are seeking to arrest him for violating his probation for possession of flakka – a synthetic street drug akin to bath salts – and for carrying a concealed weapon.
One suspect, 22-year-old Dedrick Williams, has already been arrested on murder charges. He has yet to enter a plea.
Meanwhile, XXXTentacion’s mother has shared an image of the rapper’s mausoleum. After a public memorial for the musician last Wednesday (June 27), Onfroy was laid to rest.
On Instagram, his mother Cleo posted a photo of an ornate mausoleum inscribed with both the star’s real name and stage name. It was captioned: “My guardian angel.”
A posthumous video for the rapper’s track ‘Sad!’ was released last week. Filmed before his death, the clip showed Onfroy attending his own funeral.
