An anti-LGBTQ group has suggested the “boycott” of a perfume released by Britney Spears.
A special Pride edition of the US pop star’s ‘Fantasy’ perfume is now on sale, with part of the proceeds going to GLAAD (formerly Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation).
‘1,000,000 Supporting Traditional Marriage’ Facebook page, which has just over 151,000 ‘likes’ at the time of writing, posted the message on Sunday (August 5), the day after Spears performed at Brighton Pride.
Spears had announced the product on Friday (August 3) via her Twitter account.
Looking forward to celebrating love and equality at @PrideBrighton tomorrow!! To help kick off the celebration, there's a special #Pride Edition of Fantasy available now at @superdrug stores in the UK! pic.twitter.com/GlLpI7sMrD

But, as Billboard reports, the Facebook page appears to want to sabotage her initiative.
Spears in fact has more than one LGBTQ-themed fragrance.
In July, the ‘Toxic’ singer released the fragrance ‘Prerogative’, which Spears and her team referred to as “a fragrance for all.”
Her first performance since 2016 was at Brighton’s LGBTQ+ celebration.
Event organisers were forced to issue a statement over the weekend after attendees complained about safety.
Police reportedly ‘shut down’ the train station after the show, which led to a ‘dangerous’ crowd surge.
