Aphex Twin unveils two new AFX tracks

Songs taken from 'Orphaned Deejay Selek (2006-2008)', out August 21

Aphex Twin aka Richard James has shared two more tracks from his forthcoming EP ‘Orphaned Deejay Selek (2006-2008)’, the electronic artist’s first recording under his AFX moniker in more than a decade.

James posted “simple slamming b 2” via Soundcloud (below), and as pointed out by Pitchfork, you can check out “midi pipe1c sds3time cube/klonedrm” by visiting Bleep‘s pre-order page for the record.

The tracks follow the release of ‘serge fenix Rendered 2’, unveiled back in June, and ‘oberheim blacet1b’, which was recently premiered on BBC Radio 6 by Mary Anne Hobbs.

‘Orphaned Deejay Selek (2006-2008)’ is due out on August 21. James last used the AFX moniker back in 2004, releasing the three-and-a-half-hour, 42-track ‘Analord’ series on his own record label Rephlex Records.

The ‘Orphaned Deejay Selek (2006-2008)’ tracklisting is:

‘serge fenix Rendered 2’
‘dmx acid test’
‘oberheim blacet1b’
‘bonus EMT beats’
‘simple slamming b 2’
‘midi pipe1c sds3time cube/klonedrm’
‘NEOTEKT72’
‘r8m neotek beat’
