Arcade Fire cover Kansas’ ‘Dust In The Wind’ at Kansas City gig – watch

It is the latest cover the band have revealed on their world tour, following tracks by Prince, Stevie Wonder and Blondie

Arcade Fire revealed their cover of Kansas’ ‘Dust In The Wind’ at a gig in Kansas City on Saturday night (April 26) – watch footage of it above.

The band were performing at Kansas City’s Starlight Theatre when they performed the track. “Guys, that was really beautiful, but that’s a Kansas song and we’re in fuckin’ Missouri,” Win Butler said at the end of the song. “That’s gonna kill when we play Lawrence, though.”

The track is the latest cover to be revealed by the band on their current world tour. Earlier this month, they played Blondie’s ‘Heart Of Glass’ in Texas.

They previously played their version of Boyz II Men’s ‘Motownphilly’ at a gig in Philadelphia; ‘Young Lions’ by fellow Canadian band Constantines in Toronto; and Stevie Wonder’s ‘Uptight (Everything’s Alright)’ at a gig in Michigan.

The band also brought out TV host Jonathan Ross as well as two people dressed as Daft Punk as they closed Coachella Festival 2014 last weekend (April 20).

Arcade Fire are set to bring their tour to the UK in June, where they’ll play London’s Earls Court on June 6 and 7. They have also been announced as Friday night’s headliner at Glastonbury, which takes place between June 25 and 29.
