Meanwhile, the band recently issued a statement asking fans to relax about the formal and fancy dress code at their ‘Reflektor’ shows. The band had previously asked fans to don fancy dress for their string of intimate shows around the release of their new album ‘Reflektor’, and have continued the theme for their bigger dates next year, including their huge show at London’s Earls Court on June 6, 2014. The dress code reflects the band’s own use of costumes including masks and papier mâché heads.

However, a statement posted on the band’s Facebook page now reads: “To everyone really upset about us asking people to dress up at our shows… please relax. It’s super not mandatory. It just makes for a more fun carnival when we are all in it together. So far these have been the best shows we have ever played. See you soon.
Love, Arcade Fire.”
