Arcade Fire have issued a video teasing the track ‘Afterlife’ from their forthcoming album ‘Reflektor’ – click above to watch.
The two-minute, 21 second video, posted online yesterday, features footage shot in Haiti and the band’s now-familiar papier macher masks. Earlier this week, the band released a 30-second clip of another album track, ‘Awful Sound (Oh Eurydice)’ – scroll down and click to watch.
The band also posted the lyrics to songs ‘We Exist’, ‘Here Comes The Night Time’, ‘Normal Person’ and ‘Afterlife’ to their Facebook page on October 14. All four songs were performed by the band during their NBC concert special Here Comes the Night Time earlier this year.
The band are confirmed to perform at the annual Bridge School Charity show alongside Queens Of The Stone Age, Tom Waits and My Morning Jacket on October 26. Arcade Fire fansite Arcade Fire Tube also reports that the band will play an intimate live date in Miami next week (October 26) at the Little Haiti Cultural Centre. These shows come in addition to the pair of New York shows the band are rumoured to be playing later this week.
