Film to be shown ahead of repackaged CD/DVD release

Arcade Fire‘s Spike Jonze-directed short film Scenes From The Suburbs is set for a one-off screening in London next month.

The movie, which was premiered at the South By Southwest festival in Austin in March, will be played out at the Curzon Soho cinema on June 26. Watch the trailer by clicking below. The screening will coincide with the re-packaged version of Arcade Fire‘s 2010 album ‘The Suburbs’, which is released the following day.

The new version includes two previously-unreleased songs: ‘Culture War’ and ‘Speaking In Tongues’, the latter featuring Talking Heads frontman David Byrne. It will come accompanied with a DVD featuring the 30-minute Scenes From The Suburbs film plus behind the scenes footage.
