Canada Day descends on Trafalgar Square

And the Canadian bands will be out in force

Canada, the musical home of Neil Young, Arcade Fire and You Say Party! We Say Die!, is to be celebrated in the UK this summer.

Canada Day will take place at Trafalgar Square in London on June 29, treating Londoners and Canadians alike to a free festival.

The main stage in Trafalgar Square will be provide a platform for crowds to enjoy the sounds of Canadian artists such as Johnny Reid, Justin Nozuka, The Sam Roberts Band, Land of Talk, [b[The Midway State and K’naan.


Festivities start at 12noon, with the live band performances commencing at 5pm and ending at 10pm.
