Frontman will work at a branch of La Colombe tomorrow (Februrary 14)

Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler will serve his own range of coffee at a cafe in New York on Valentine’s Day.

As reported, Butler’s ‘RaRa’ coffee was grown in Haiti and will be released in conjunction with La Colombe Coffee. Proceeds from sales will go to the Partners in Health and Haiti Coffee Academy charities.

He will be serving the new line at a branch of La Colombe near Hudson Square in Manhattan tomorrow (February 14). The specific branch will be announced on the morning. Butler will be in New York all weekend, taking part in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn today (February 13).

This year has also seen the likes of St Vincent and LCD Soundsystem‘s James Murphy releasing brands of coffee. Annie Clark’s ‘Bring Me Your Mugs’ brew was released in May, named after the track ‘Bring Me Your Loves’ from her recent self-titled album. Murphy’s ‘House Of Good’ coffee was made available in February, with its flavour described as “dried cherry, cocoa, meyer lemon”.
