Arcade Fire headlined London’s Wembley Arena on Wednesday night, with Hynde taking to the stage early in the set.
Hynde then returned for an encore of Arcade Fire’s ‘Wake Up’, which – according to reports – also featured a guest appearance from The National‘s Bryce Dessner.

Arcade Fire have been performing in a boxing ring as part of special ‘in the round’ spectacles in support of their fifth studio album ‘Everything Now’.
The band recently played ‘Vampire/ Forest Fire’ for the first time in seven years. The rare live performance came ahead of the band reissuing their debut EP for this year’s Record Store Day.
With the tour kicking off in Dublin last week, the band paid tribute to The Cranberries’ Dolores O’Riordan with a cover of ‘Linger‘.
According to reports, he showed up at Deaf Institute with just a MacBook and a bottle of whiskey, and selected songs for two hours. In the frontman’s set were tracks by the likes of Barry White, MIA, The Rapture, Can, Sylvester, Human League, Donna Summer, and Blondie.
