Arcade Fire have released a new video for ‘Peter Pan’ – check out the visuals below.

Taken from their 2017 album ‘Everything Now’, the video for ‘Peter Pan (Equiknoxx Remix)’ has been directed by Jamaican-born director Storm Saulter.

Describing the video as “a Lo-Fi Teenage Dancehall Fairytale”, Saulter directs Kingston dancehall stars Maleik Lamont and Rayana Campbell in the roles of Peter Pan‘s Peter and Wendy.

With their story playing out against a backdrop of a neon-tinged skyline and energetic dance moves in Kingston, the video is said to embrace Arcade Fire’s “love for and familiarity with the music, culture and people of Jamaica”.

The video comprises two remixes of ‘Peter Pan’: one by Kingston-based duo Equiknoxx, and the other by the composer Jeremy Ashbourne.

The video was choreographed by Amanyea Stines, who has previously worked with Cardi B and Major Lazer among others.

Saulter’s relationship with the Canadian band dates back to 2013 when he photographed them during the album sessions for ‘Reflecktor’.
