Architects’ bassist Ali Dean rejoins the band

Dean had quit in February due to family commitments

Architects have announced that bassist Ali Dean has rejoined the band.

Dean initially quit the Brighton metalcore band in February, citing family commitments, but has now returned, the band confirmed yesterday (July 3).

Writing on the band’s official Facebook page, Dean confirmed he had returned to the band and that the family commitments that had led to his departure were on the way to being sorted.

He wrote: “I’m very happy to be able to say that I’m back. Being able to stay at home for the past few months have given my family and I the opportunity adjust to what happened last year and I know its done us all a lot of good. After missing out on the few tours that the guys did without me I felt pretty bad about not being a part of the band anymore. Now things are moving forward for my family and this is what I need to be doing!”

Dean also thanked fans who had offered him support in the months he has been absent from the band.

His first show with Architects will be at Sonisphere Festival this weekend.
