Arctic Monkeys, Pixies, Elton John to play iTunes Festival

Run of free gigs takes place in London's Roundhouse throughout September

Arctic Monkeys and Pixies are among the latest names announced for this year’s iTunes festival, which takes place at London’s Roundhouse venue every night from September 1 to 30.

Arctic Monkeys are set to appear on September 9, while Pixies will take to the stage on September 25 with No Ceremony in support. Other new additions to the bill include Elton John, Tom Odell, John Legend and Robin Thicke.

A statement from Arctic Monkeys promises that those in attendance can expect to hear plenty of new material from the band’s forthcoming album ‘AM’. “We’re looking forward to performing at the Roundhouse and excited to be playing songs from our new LP,” they say.
