Model Breana McDow, who has appeared in three of the band's music videos, is 21 weeks pregnant
Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders has announced that he is to be a father for the first time.
The Sheffield musician, whose band released their fifth album ‘AM’ in September 2013, took to Twitter to confirm the news. Helders linked to an Instagram post from fiancée Breana McDow, who made the big reveal.
The model/actress posted an image of herself holding a child’s knitted sweater, with the caption reading: “So I went back and forth quite a bit before deciding to post this. But I thought, hell, it can’t stay a secret forever, and I think I would rather like to be in charge of my own news. So.. You know how basically everyone is pregnant? Well 21 weeks ago my body jumped on that band wagon and my ass is knocked UP, y’all! On Halloween a new monster is born.”

Helders and McDow have been dating since 2011, announcing their engagement in 2013. McDow has appeared in three Arctic Monkeys music videos to date, namely ‘Suck It And See’, ‘Evil Twin’ and ‘Black Treacle’. Watch beneath.
