A special Arctic Monkeys interactive collectors edition of NME has launched online today (September 26).
The updated and interactive version of the Special Collectors’ Edition includes new and interactive features, including the ability to stream audio direct from iTunes and stream video from articles.
Included in the edition are classic interviews with Alex Turner and the band plus each of their five albums reassessed. It also features classic images charting the band’s rise from the early days in Sheffield to bringing ‘AM’ to a close at Reading and Leeds 2014.
Does ‘Whatever You Say I Am…’ deserve to be the fastest selling debut album ever? Is ‘Humbug’ a forgotten classic? How does ‘AM’ stand up to such a formidable legacy? Find out inside.
The Special Collectors Edition is only available on iPad and iPhone. All of the articles and pictures are optimised for users of both with a better reading experience for iOS users. A free trial version can be downloaded here with an option to upgrade to the full version once inside the app for 99p.
