Arctic Monkeys go Top 10 in US

'Favourite Worst Nightmare' enters Billboard charts

Arctic Monkeys have entered the US Billboard album chart at Number Seven with their second LP ’Favourite Worst Nightmare’.

The album fared better than 2006 debut LP ’Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not’, which entered at Number 24.

The album sold a total of 44,000 copies in its first week, reports Billboard.

As previously reported, not only did the band score a UK Number One album with ‘Favourite Worst Nightmare’ but, due to an error, the band notched up 17 tracks in the Top 200 singles chart this week.
