Arctic Monkeys get 17 singles in UK Chart

NME.COM presents the Sheffield band's very own singles chart

Having scored a Number One for new album ’Favourite Worst Nightmare’, Arctic Monkeys also took over the UK singles chart this week (April 30).

As previously reported, due to a error by a download site the band’s second record was sold as individual tracks rather than as an entire album making downloads of their new songs eligible for the singles chart.

In addition several older songs have also reappeared in the countdown which added to the current single, ’Brianstorm’, and its B-sides, has seen the Sheffield band notch up 17 tracks in the Top 200 this week.
