Arctic Monkey fans queue for 14 hours

Hundreds of fans brave the cold for tickets

Hundreds of Arctic Monkeys fans braved the cold in Middlesbrough last night (February 26) for the chance to see the band play their secret gig tonight (February 27) at Middlesbrough Town Hall.

Fans began queuing at 10pm last night to guarantee them a spot, even though tickets weren’t on sale until noon today.

Speaking to local Middlesbrough newspaper the Gazette, town hall manager Pat Fysh expressed her lack of surprise at the turnout.
