Arctic Monkeys win Best Album at BRITS

The band score second award of the night

Arctic Monkeys have won the British Album BRIT award at tonight’s (February 14) BRIT Awards in London.

‘Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not’ bagged the top prize, and again the band sent in another unexpected video acceptance.

This time they dressed up as The Village People.


“Sorry we can’t be there we hope you’re having a wonderful time, as you can see we are,” joked drummer Matthew Helders who appeared as The Indian Chief. “We’re rehearsing for the year ahead, that’s why we couldn’t make it.”
