Ariana Grande has shared a series of emotional tributes to Mac Miller, on what would have been the late rapper’s 27th birthday.

Miller, who dated Grande until May 2018, died last September from a drug overdose at his California home.

Paying tribute on Miller’s first birthday, Grande shared a series of photos on Instagram that showed the pair together during the two years of their relationship.

The ‘7 Rings’ singer also paid tribute in a since deleted Twitter message. ‘Miss U’, she wrote in tribute to the late star.

The latest tribute to Miller comes after Grande hailed him as her “dearest friend” following the confirmation of his death last September.

“I adored you from the day i met you when i was nineteen and I always will. I can’t believe you aren’t here anymore. I really can’t wrap my head around it. We talked about this.So many times. I’m so mad, I’m so sad I don’t know what to do,” wrote Grande.

“You were my dearest friend. For so long. Above anything else. I’m so sorry I couldn’t fix or take your pain away. I really wanted to. The kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved. I hope you’re okay now. Rest.”

Later in the year, she remembered him with a sweet post on Thanksgiving.

Meanwhile, Grande returned last Friday with her latest single ‘7 rings.’
