LOVE are to re-release their second album ‘DA CAPO’ on May 13.
The record, originally released in 1967, has been fully remastered and packaged along the lines of last year’s reissue of ‘Forever Changes’. It features both the Mono and Stereo versions of the LP along with a previously unreleased tracking session for ‘7 And 7 Is’.
The reissue of the album should capitalise on the return to the live arena of legendary frontman Arthur Lee in mid-May.
Lee was released from a Californian jail last December after serving six years of an 11-year sentence. In 1996, he was convicted of possession of a firearm by an ex-felon and also grossly negligent discharge of a firearm for allegedly shooting a gun in the air during a dispute with a neighbour.
The tour will kick off in Denmark on May and reach the UK with a show at Glasgow King Tut’s on June 4.
