This is the second consecutive week that the Harlem rapper has decided to drop a music video, having accompanied the release of the one-off single ‘Sundress’ last week. The track features a Tame Impala sample – with its own official clip.
Returning to the promotion of his third studio album, which was released back in May, Rocky has today (November 30) shared the official video for the track ‘Gunz N Butter’, which features Juicy J.
The quickfire visuals – directed by James Mackel – are designed to bombard the viewer with various scenes featuring food processing, KKK members burning crosses, a couple having sex in a kitchen and a fake cigarette advert all squeezing into the three-and-a-half-minute video. See the clip below.
Earlier this month, Rocky shared the video for his FKA Twigs collaboration ‘Fukk Sleep’, which also features on ‘Testing’.
Away from the deluge of music videos, Rocky also attracted headlines and social media attention this month for wearing a Gucci-branded ‘grandma scarf’ on a red carpet.
The rapper turned up to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Eighth Annual Art + Film gala wearing the floral silk scarf wrapped around his head, setting the internet alight in the process.
