Hundred Reasons and The Soundtrack Of Our Lives support...

Ash are the latest band to be confirmed to play at the NME CARLING SHOWS in February, we can reveal.

The Northern Irish band, who hit Number One with their ‘Free All Angels’ album last year, will play the London Astoria on February 5. Hotly tipped Brit rockers Hundred Reasons will join them on the bill, along with Swedish psychedelic outfit The Soundtrack Of Our Lives and UK emo-newcomers Jetplane Landing. Tickets are £11 in advance.

Ash frontman Tim Wheeler told NME.COM: “It feels like home, actually, for us the Astoria. I think this is our third NME show there. I can’t wait, actually. I think we’ll do an hour-long set and just rock out. I’d like to have some surprises but I haven’t thought of them yet!”

You can read more from Tim Wheeler in this week’s NME (week ending January 12), in shops in London tomorrow (January 8) and throughout the UK on Wednesday (9).
