ATOMIC KITTEN have taken their cover of THE BANGLES’ ‘ETERNAL FLAME’ to the top of the UK single charts.

The track, released last Monday (July 23) beat off competition from Destiny’s Child, whose single ‘Bootylicious’ is the second highest new entry at Number Two.

Last week’s Number One, Robbie Williams’ double A-side track ‘Eternity / The Road To Mandalay’, drops two places to Number Three.

Other new releases this week come from O-Town, whose track ‘All Or Nothing’ enters the chart at Number Four and Cosmic Gate, whose ‘Fire Wire’ is at Number Nine.

In the album charts, Destiny’s Child’s ‘Survivor’ remains at Number One for another week, with the highest new entry coming from Super Furry Animals, whose ‘Rings Around The World’ is at Number Three.
