Will you spend your days in the sunshiiiiine?
Liam Gallagher is set to headline his final UK festival of the year this Friday and it’s looking like it could be a sun-soaked finale to the summer.
The inaugural RiZE Festival takes place in Chelmsford, Essex and will see the former Oasis frontman taking top billing on the first night, before Stereophonics headline on Saturday.
According to BBC Weather, fans can expect a dry festival – with highs of 24C across the two days.
On Friday August 17th, temperatures will peak at 22C at 2PM, before reaching a low of 16C at 11PM. Sunny intervals and a moderate breeze can be expected.
It’s a similar story for Saturday, with temperatures peaking at 23C in the early afternoon. Once again, it’s expected that the day will be defined by sunny intervals and a moderate breeze.
RiZE Festival takes place at Chelmsford’s Hylands Park and comes after it was announced that V Festival wouldn’t be returning for 2018.
As well as sets from Gallagher and Stereophonics, fans can expect sets from the likes of Years & Years, Rag’n’Bone Man, Manic Street Preachers, Bastille, James Bay, Circa Waves, Craig David, and more.
It was subsequently confirmed that the traditional sister festival, which traditionally takes place in Staffordshire, will not occur.
