Recordings of live performances by the likes of Robert Plant, Foo Fighters and Coldplay will also feature on the new Sky Arts programme
The renowned US music show Austin City Limits – which debuted back in 1976 – is behind the footage of the classic sets, with a new five-episode series of the show set to air next month on UK TV for the very first time.
As well as “seminal” sets from Radiohead (recorded in 2012) and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds (2014), performances from Robert Plant (2016), Foo Fighters (2015) and Coldplay (2011) will also be shown as part of the new series.

Speaking about the launch of the show in the UK, Austin City Limits’ General Manager Tom Gimbel said: “The UK has an incredible history of music television shows including the iconic Top of the Pops and Later… with Jools Holland. We’re excited and honoured to bring Austin City Limits to UK music fans via SKY TV.”
