Download festival confirms new addition

Orange County metallers Avenged Sevenfold join the bill

Avenged Sevenfold are the latest act to join the bill for this year’s Download festival.

The Orange County metallers will be making their debut at the rock event, which takes place between June 9-11 at Donington Park.

Speaking about their appearance, the band said: “Sharing the stage with such legends is an honour beyond our words, especially when it’s as massive as Download.”

Avenged Sevenfold join a line-up that includes headliners Tool, Metallica and Guns N’ Roses as well as Korn, Prodigy, Deftones, Clutch, Trivium, Bullet For My Valentine, Lucuna Coil, InMe, Hatebreed and Within Temptation.
