Azealia Banks has abandoned her forthcoming album after sharing her experiences on the set of Nick Cannon’s MTV show Wild ‘N Out.
The ‘212’ singer wrote in a post on her Instagram story, “Album is cancelled. I need some time to relax and bounce on dick. I’ll release new music when I feel like it…”
On Sunday (July 16), Banks shared a post in which she accused the cast of making jokes that pushed her to tears.
Banks wrote beneath a photo of her on stage: “I did Wildin’ out today. There were tons of pre-planned colorist jokes and of course…cry baby cried.”
Cannon responded to Banks’ accusation via Instagram, “Don’t you hate when you create your own storms but forget your umbrella??”
As Complex reports, Wild ‘N Out cast member Emanuel Hudson also shared his version of the events during the recording.
Banks had previously shared songs ‘Anna Wintour’ and ‘Treasure Island‘ off ‘Fantasea II: The Second Wave’.
In other recent news, Banks set up a GoFundMe campaign to sue Russell Crowe regarding his alleged racial slurs at a party in 2016. She also claims that Crowe spat on her.
