The band will play four shows at:Gloucester Guildhall Arts Centre June 4 Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms (June 5) Oxford Zodiac (June 6) London Camden Dingwalls (June 7)

It is unclear at present if Babybird live will feature a full band or, as has been mooted, simply Stephen Jones, his guitarist Luke Scott and a sampler and DAT machines.

‘Bugged’, the follow-up to 1998’s ‘There’s Something Going On’, will be released through Echo on June 12. It will be preceded by a single, ‘Out Of Sight’, on May 22.

Babybird will play at several of the summer’s festivals, though dates have yet to be confirmed.
