Due to funding problems

A one-day live spectacular due to feature Babyshambles and The Futureheads has been cancelled.

Let’s Rock! Edinburgh was due to take place on September 30 at the Royal Highland Centre at Ingliston.

According to a statement on the event’s official website it wasn’t possible to raise the funds needed to host the festival.

The full statement reads: “We are very disappointed and saddened to announce the cancellation today of Let’s Rock! Edinburgh. This event was being funded with the aid of a private investor who is now not able to produce the necessary funding required to see the event continue. This unfortunately leaves us with no choice but the cancel the event with immediate effect.

“All tickets will be refunded if you return to your point of purchase. If you purchased online or via telephone, please contact the ticket agent who will issue you with a full refund.”
