Pete Doherty has had his bail extended after appearing in court…

PETE DOHERTY will be able to play planned gigs with Babyshambles tonight (February 21) and tomorrow night, after having his bail extended.

The star appeared this morning for a pre-trial hearing at Snaresbrook Crown Court in London after being charged with robbery and blackmail earlier this month.

A scheduled sold-out show at London Brixton Academy had been in doubt due to Pete’s bail conditions, which put him under a strict 10pm curfew.

It was agreed that for tomorrow night only, the curfew will be extended until midnight, allowing him to play the gig. Tonight’s warm-up date at the London Garage has a stage time of 8.45pm

Co-defendant Alan Wass has been granted the same extension.

At the pre-trial hearing, it was ruled that both defendants – who spoke only to confirm their names – must return to court on April 18 to enter their pleas.

Doherty’s £150,000 bail has also been reduced by £50,000.
