As US pre-orders on new album ‘BLACK & BLUE’ hit the 5 milion mark, NME.COM can bring you the details of the BACKSTREET BOYS‘ ‘two-day world tour’.
As previously reported, the band will be undertaking a massive promotional exercise in the run-up to the album’s release during which time they’ll be touching down in a series of destinations across various continents.
The band won’t actually be performing any concerts, but [url=]www.bsbfan.net have gleaned the following itinerary from Backstreet Boys‘ Singapore record label:
17 November: Depart Stockholm, Sweden for Tokyo, Japan.
18 November: Arrive in Tokyo. Depart Tokyo for Sydney, Australia.
19 November: Arrive in Sydney. Depart Sydney for Hong Kong.
20 November: Arrive in Hong Kong. Leave Hong Kong for Frankfurt, Germany. Depart Frankfurt for Marrakech, Morocco. Arrive Marrakech.
21 November: Depart Marrakech to Caracas, Venezuela. Arrive Caracas. Depart Caracas to New York City, USA. Arrive at NYC.
Meanwhile pre-orders for ‘Black & Blue’ – due for release on the day the Boys turn up in New York – have hit the five million mark. If these orders become reality in the album’s first week of release, Backstreet Boys should smash the record of 2.4million, previously held by *N Sync’s ‘No Strings Attached’, for first week US album sales.
