Baddies announce split

The Southend four piece have decided to call it a day

Baddies have announced their split.

The Essex guitar band took to their Facebook page yesterday (July 19) to share the news with fans, posting a statement which read:

It is with heavy heart and a lump in our collective throat that we announce Baddies are splitting up. We’re all still great friends / family but it has become an ongoing struggle that’s too difficult to continue with. Thankyou and goodnight

Today, the band followed their initial statement by saying that they were considering the possibility of playing a farewell show for fans. They wrote: “Thankyou for all the kind messages… There is talk of a possible final show providing the fans want to see it… If you want it then let it be known.”

The band formed in 2007 and released their debut album, ‘Do The Job’, in 2009, following it with ‘Build’ earlier this year. During their career, they played support to the likes of The Joy Formidable, Pulled Apart By Horses and Everything Everything.
