The follow-up to 'Have You Fed The Fish?' will be out soon - as will the star's first DVD...

BADLY DRAWN BOY is set for a busy 2004 – his new album and a DVD retrospective will come out in the first half of the year.

The star has completed work on the follow-up to 2002’s ‘Have You Fed The Fish?’. The album was recorded up in Manchester with long time collaborator and friend Andy Votel. Speaking about the album earlier this year, BDB, aka Damon Gough, described the sound of the new record as “sparse” and “minimal”.

BDB‘s label XL are also putting the finishing touches to a DVD which will present an overview of his career to date. Along with videos taken from the albums ‘The Hour of Bewilderbeast’, ‘About A Boy’ and ‘Have You Fed The Fish?’, the collection will also include rare early videos, and previously unseen footage of the star performing at home and at the Glastonbury Festival.

Badly Drawn Boy is currently on a US tour.
