BADLY DRAWN BOYis headlining a special benefit gig in LONDON this weekend.
The show, at Brixton Academy, takes place this Saturday (September 20), the eve of the Peace One Day organisation’s’ International Day of Peace – an annual day symbolising global ceasefire and disarmament.
Badly Drawn Boy – aka Damon Gough – appears alongside [/a], [a], Dave Stewart, Tom McRae and 1 Giant Leap.
Dave Stewart, Creative Director of the ‘Peace One Day’ collective, has written a song with Jimmy Cliff to commemorate the day, and Stella McCartney has designed an exclusive T-shirt. Tickets for the show cost £25.
Badly Drawn Boy recently started work on his fourth album with original collaborator Andy Votel on production duties.
