But none of them have much chance of toppling Gareth Gates from the top slot in the UK singles chart...

MISSY ELLIOTT, TRAVIS and BADLY DRAWN BOY all release new singles today (March 25), but none have much chance of stopping GARETH GATES’ chart domination.

Gates’ cover of ‘Unchained Melody’ went to Number One yesterday (March 25), making the 17 year-old the youngest British male solo artist to have a Number One single.

Today, a host of new releases are looking for chart success, but none have much chance of becoming a chart topper, according to an expert at the Virgin Megastore in London.

She commented: “Gareth’s sales indicate he’ll be good for another week at the top. Missy Elliott should go Top Ten, and new releases from Travis Badly Drawn Boy should also do well.”

Missy Elliott releases ‘4 My People’, Badly Drawn Boy releases ‘Silent Sigh’ from the soundtrack to the film ‘About A Boy’, and Travis release their new single ‘Flowers In The Window’.
