Details of new single and soundtrack for "urban western" movie...

Badly Drawn Boy, aka Damon Gough, has announced his first ever UK tour. He’ll be joined on stage by fellow Mancunians Alfie and will play at Leicester Princess Charlotte (October 25) Glasgow King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut (27) Manchester University (28) Liverpool Cream (29) Sheffield Leadmill (30) Leeds Cockpit (November 1) Bristol Fleece & Firkin (2) Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms (4) Brighton Big Beat Boutique (5) London Queens Theatre (6) The London date will be all-seated. Badly Drawn Boy will release a new track ‘Skidding Out Of Control’ on a new Twisted Nerve six track EP titled ‘Modern Music For Motorcycles’, set for release at the end of November. He’s also just finished the music for a short film titled ‘Exhaust’, directed by Suzi Ewing, who directed the video for his last single ‘Once Around The Block’. The film’s described as ‘an urban Western’ and will be shown at selected cinemas across the UK from the end of October. The film will also be shown at selected dates on the Badly Drawn Boy tour. Damon Gough‘s now working on his debut album, due for release early next year on Twisted Nerve, through XL Recordings.
