Sensational scenes in Manchester as Damon Gough's pride and joy is swiped from his head...
BADLY DRAWN BOY has had his trademark woolly hat stolen from off his head while out in his native MANCHESTER, NME.COM can exclusively reveal.
An eyewitness told NME.COM that Damon Gough was drinking in the Night & Day café on Oldham Street in the city centre (January 27), when a youth ran up to him, pulled the hat off his head, and made for the exit. He said that for the rest of the night, Gough looked “incredibly pissed off”.
An official spokesperson for Gough said this afternoon (January 29) that the hat has not yet been returned, and he is upset because he was due to auction the famous item for charity later in the week. She dismissed rumours that his UK tour was in jeopardy following the theft.
