Band Of Horses soundtrack the sundown at Glastonbury

Seattle's cosmic cowboys play a memorable set

Band Of Horses provided the perfect accompaniment to the setting sun at Glastonbury‘s John Peel Stage this evening (June 28).

With the band having already received huge cheers when sound-checking, the atmosphere in the tent was electric when they finally began properly with ‘Is There A Ghost’.

Frontman Ben Bridwell couldn’t stop grinning throughout, even exclaiming at one point: “This fucking rules! Woooo!”

The band played new song ‘Read My Mind For Free’, but ‘Is There A Ghost’ and ‘Cigarettes And Wedding Bans’ got the best reception as the tent bizarrely filled with smoke from outside.
